What do you like best about Softr?I love Softr's no code feature because it allowed me to quickly create and launch multiple web applications across different regions, like India and the USA, without a complex setup. The ease of use is a big plus for me, and I appreciate the support from the team. Their clean and user-friendly interface is great, and the team is always helpful with queries. I find their wonderful community page super useful for common questions. I also enjoy the integrations with other tools, which help me convert a database into a searchable and organized platform. The transition from idea to a working product is incredibly fast. Their videos made the initial setup easy, and I’m glad for the flexibility with blocks now available to customize as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.What do you dislike about Softr?Earlier, the blocks and options were less, however, now with many blocks they have given the ability to the user to change it as we need it. What do you like best about Softr?I like Softr's Airtable integration and easy UI, which makes it effortless to set up quickly before we develop our own platform. I can easily link it with Zapier too, which adds to its convenience. The initial setup was very easy, making it a practical choice for our small team. What do you like best about Softr?I like the possibility of connecting a custom domain even in the free plan. I appreciate the wide availability of integrations, the database, and the integrated workflows. It's fantastic to be able to create portals without writing a line of code quickly but with great results. I found it useful to switch from Airtable's backend to Softr's internal database to avoid API limits. Moreover, with Softr, I was able to replace a WordPress site and a management system made in Excel. I recommend Softr because it is truly revolutionary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.What do you dislike about Softr? The prices of the plans didn't seem cheap to me, I'm still on the free plan. Sometimes I need to make a quick change but it's not possible from the smartphone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you like best about Softr?I've been using airtable and couldn't find a decent interface the combined the two. Softr gave me great options to integrate all the needs i had using the database with an external interface for a non-technical staff with an extremely reasonable cost. It's been amazing how well my staff has adapted to using it on all devices. Finding ways to show data, while using the automations and linking in airtable, but a very easy to access external facing user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.What do you dislike about Softr? There's some limitations around the forms; not able to do enough customization. In general the "usability" and ease of it does leave to some default blocks where i wish i had more control with the views/design. However, "vibe" coding has been helpful since i can work with the coding and scripts myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you like best about Softr?Flexibility, powerful features, easy to deploy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.What do you dislike about Softr?I would like to see more styling options and flexibility in the UI elements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you like best about Softr?I love how seamlessly Softr connects with our table, as we're heavily reliant on it, and it works perfectly, like magic. The personalization options are fantastic; when there's something I need, I can usually accomplish it, and if not, I can easily add a bit of code, which is easier now with all the AI tools available. Softr meets all our needs as a 'less is more' tool, and we really like it. The integration with our table means we have all our data synced, which helps our team update client projects effectively. It syncs in the best way we could imagine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.What do you dislike about Softr?I think sometimes it may lack a bit of obvious features that we need, like accesses and visibility for different clients. We'd like a setup where different clients using the same page can only see their own information. The accessibility and visibility checks are always manual, so it'd be great if Softr could handle this automatically. Also, we feel it lacks some options like markdowns and direct commenting capabilities, which is why we're trying to connect it with Notion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you like best about Softr?I really appreciate Softr's easy, clean interface, which makes building an app a smooth process. The initial setup was very easy, and I find the customer service to be great, which adds to the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.What do you dislike about Softr? Some of the components are quite restrictive and the list block designs aren't always great. I also miss having a simple text box inserter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you like best about Softr?I love the ease with which I can link my Airtable database with Softr. Every time I change something on Softr, it also reflects on Airtable. Thanks to Softr, my clients now have a clear portal to see the products we offer. This also allows me to immediately see on my Airtable database the comments left by clients and to adapt my offerings according to their expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.What do you dislike about Softr? The button system, I would like to be able to make it so that when I press my validated button, the button can enlarge or there is a clear animation. Currently, there is just a message that appears for 5 seconds and it is not obvious enough to show that the customer has already chosen this product. It may be that I haven't found the feature to do that yet. Also, the initial setup of Softr was a bit difficult, but it was made easier with the help of AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you like best about Softr?I've been pleased with Softr. Their customer service really responds quickly, which I appreciate. Softr is making things user-friendly, especially for setting up a database and automating processes. It gives a professional look, which is really helpful for my needs in ministry, like conducting spiritual gift inventories. I'm amazed at how it accesses all the data and simplifies everything when I give it a prompt. The initial setup was very easy, and I was pleasantly surprised by the integration options, especially with Airtable. What do you like best about Softr?I like how once you get used to Softr's logic, it becomes quite fast to build complex interactions between databases and automatic reports. I also found the initial setup quite easy, and it evolves from there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.What do you dislike about Softr? The mobile app seems a little bit edgy, like the 'close cross' on my iPhone for a modal view is sometimes not where I can click it. Usability and responsiveness should be improved. Push notifications would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Softr launches AI-native platform to help nontechnical teams build business apps without code
Softr, the Berlin-based no-code platform used by more than one million builders and 7,000 organizations including Netflix, Google, and Stripe, today launched what it calls an AI-native platform — a bet that the explosive growth of AI-powered app creation tools has produced a market full of impressive demos but very little production-ready business software. The company's new AI Co-Builder lets non-technical users describe in plain language the software they need, and the platform generates a fully integrated system — database, user interface, permissions, and business logic included — connected and ready for real-world deployment immediately. The move marks a fundamental evolution for a company that spent five years building a no-code business before layering AI on top of what it describes as a proven infrastructure of constrained, pre-built building blocks. "Most AI app-builders stop at the shiny demo stage," Softr Co-Founder and CEO Mariam Hakobyan told VentureBeat in an exclusive interview ahead of the launch. "A lot of the time, people generate calculators, landing pages, and websites — and there are a huge number of use cases for those. But there is no actual business application builder, which has completely different needs." The announcement arrives at a moment when the AI app-building market finds itself at an inflection point. A wave of so-called "vibe coding" platforms — tools like Lovable, Bolt, and Replit that generate application code from natural language prompts — have captured developer mindshare and venture capital over the past 18 months. But Hakobyan argues those tools fundamentally misserve the audience Softr is chasing: the estimated billions of non-technical business users inside companies who need custom operational software but lack the skills to maintain AI-generated code when it inevitably breaks. Why AI-generated app prototypes keep failing when real business data is involved The core tension Softr is trying to resolve is one that has plag
